Council and Committee is dedicated to making municipal government accessible and understandable. We do not endorse candidates or positions.

Our sole purpose is to inform.

Municipal government is the level of government that most directly affects daily life, yet it often receives the least attention and voter turnout remains low.

By providing clear, nonpartisan information about council and committee work, we help residents stay connected, engaged, and aware of how local decisions shape their communities.

An engaged and informed electorate where every voter has the knowledge and confidence to participate meaningfully in municipal democracy, ensuring that local government reflects the values and priorities of the community it serves.

About The Candidate Survey

The purpose of the election survey is to give candidates the opportunity to explain, in their own words, their positions on a variety of topics.

The questions have been chosen to reflect issues that matter across the political spectrum—so whatever your priorities are in this election, you can see how each candidate responds.

Council & Committee has no ideology and no preferred candidates.

Our goal is not to tell you who to support, but to ensure you have the information you need to make an informed choice.

We want you to be able to compare candidates’ answers, and to select the person whose values and vision align most closely with your own.
